So, yeah, it seems Christmas is here. One more week down and let the fun begin -although I’m already having fun! 🙂 Baking and cooking never felt so good!

I love waking up and do some Christmas-y baking by the early morning. It’s definitely the best way to start a day. This week everything is going to be about chocolate of course, and I decided to start it with this double chocolate chip muffins.

(Makes 10)
Ingredients:

200 g flour
60 g brown sugar
75 ml sour cream
75 ml semi-skimmed milk
1 Tablespoon baking powder
2 Tablespoons cocoa powder
2 Tablespoons sunflower oil
1 Egg
90 g semisweet chocolate
90 g white chocolate

Sift the flour, the baking powder and the cocoa and stir it in the sugar. Make a well in the centre and add the egg, beaten with the sour cream, milk and oil.

Mix gradually until you obtain thick and creamy dough.

Chop the white and semisweet chocolate into small pieces and add it to the mixture.

Preheat the oven (180º C) and spoon the chocolate mixture into muffin cases, filling them almost to the top. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.

Então parece que o Natal está mesmo aqui. Falta uma semana e depois, é só diversão – embora já esteja a divertir-me à brava, pois esta é a minha época favorita! 🙂 Cozinhar e fazer bolos nunca me soube tão bem!

Adoro levantar-me e fazer algo bem natalício logo pela manhã. É a melhor maneira de começar um dia. Esta semana será tudo à cerca de chocolate é claro, e por isso decidi começa-la com estes queques de chocolate duplo.

(Faz cerca de 10)
Ingredientes:

200 g farinha
60 g açúcar amarelo
75 ml natas azedas
75 ml leite meio gordo
1 Colher de sopa fermento em pó
2 Colheres de sopa cacau em pó
2 Colheres de sopa óleo de girassol
1 Ovo
90 g Chocolate de leite
90 g Chocolate branco

Misturar a farinha, o fermento e o cacau e acrescentar ao açúcar. Faz-se um buraco no centro e adicionar o ovo batido com as natas, o leite e o óleo.

Misturar tudo gradualmente até obter uma massa pesada. Cortar os chocolates aos pedaços e misturar ao preparado anterior.

Pré-aquecer o forno a 180º C. Dispor colheradas de massa em forminhas com papel de queques e enchê-los quase até ao topo. Levá-los ao forno durante cerca de 20 a 25 minutos.
