Simple Chocolate Cake | Bolo de Chocolate Simples

1.Pergunto-me porque é que as pessoas são tão difíceis de suportar.

Esta última semana foi cheia de altos e baixos – principalmente baixos! E principalmente por causa delas, as pessoas. Porque é que as pessoas não vivem em paz umas com as outras? Eu penso que as pessoas seriam menos amargas se simplesmente comessem uma fatia de bolo de chocolate.

Chegar a casa e saber que tenho este delicioso e deleitoso bolo, ganho o dia.

Portanto, pessoas, deixem de ser tão irritantes, tenham calma e comam bolo de chocolate. Verão que as melhores coisas da vida, são sempre as mais simples. Mesmo.

I wonder why people are so difficult to deal with.

This last week was full of ups and downs – mostly downs! And mostly because of them, people. Why people simply don’t live in peace with each other? Seriously.

I think people were less bitter if they simply eat a piece of chocolate cake. Arriving home and knowing that I have this delicious and delightful cake just make my day.

So, people, stop being so annoying, keep calm and eat chocolate cake. You will see that the best thing of life, are always the simple ones. Seriously.

2.Ingredientes / Ingredients:

115 gr de chocolate aos pedaços / 115 g semisweet chocolate, chopped into small pieces
45 ml de leite / 45 ml of milk
150 gr de margarina amolecida / 150 g of margarine, softened
150 gr de açúcar mascavado / 150 g of light muscovado (brown) sugar
3 Ovos / 3 Eggs
200 gr de farinha com fermento / 200 g of self-raising flour
15 ml de cacau em pó / 15 ml of cocoa powder
1 Quantidade de creme de manteiga de chocolate / 1 Quantity chocolate buttercream

1. Derreter o chocolate no leite, em banho-maria. Misturar até ficar cremoso. / Mix the chocolate and the milk in a bowl. In a pan, bring some water to just below simmering point. Place the bowl containing the chocolate mixture on top. Leave about 5 minutes, until the chocolate softens, then stir until smooth.

2. Misturar a manteiga e o açúcar até criar um creme esbranquiçado e fofo. Adicionar os ovos, um a um, e bater em cada adição. Misturar o chocolate até ficar homogéneo. / Cream the butter with the sugar until pale and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the chocolate mixture until well combined.

3. Adicionar à mistura de chocolate a farinha e o cacau e colocar a massa numa forma previamente untada. Levar ao forno a 180º C, e deixar durante 30 a 40 minutos. / Sift the flour and cocoa over the misture and fold with a metal spoon until evenly mixed. Bake for 30 – 40 minutes, at 180º C.

4. Rechear o bolo com creme de manteiga de chocolate. / Fill the cake with chocolate buttercream.
